IDFA, the International Documentary Film Festival of Amsterdam, has selected Back to the Square to this year IDFA Forum. The documentary is directed by Claudia Lisboa and produced by Laika Film & Television.
Back to the square is about Nada Ahmed who was one the protesters making the Tahrir revolution in Egypt happen.She’s now fighting for her own freedom and independence but she has to face conservative structures and her own familys traditional values. At the same time her country experiencing an important historical change.
The IDFA Forum will take place from 19 to 21 November and is one of Europes most important meeting places for filmmakers, producers and television editors.
