Laika Film has as an local partner contributed to the filming of a movie in the French-German channel Arte series Durch die Nacht.
In every episode two cultural personalities meet during an evening in a city in the world. When the program came to Stockholm it was the legendary investigating journalist Günter Wallraff and former Wikileakscollaborator Daniel Domscheit-Berg who met.
One night in early December, they visited the Vasa Museum, Fittjamoskéen, Restaurant Knut and a number of other places. They also met Swedish cultural personalities such as Anna Odell and Peter Sunde, one of the founders of Pirate Bay. The film ends with ping-pong game at the restaurant Papa Ray Ray on Södermalm.
Laika took care coordination, planning and logistics for the three filmteams. Laika also contributed with a camera unit and sound engineers.
