During William Johanssons travel to Swaziland in south of Africa, he interview Bheki Makhubu, the editor for the news paper The Nation.
Earlier this year Bheki Makhubu was released from jail after being imprisoned for 14 months. He has put in jail in March 2014 and was sentenced in July the same year to two years in prison for contempt of court over articles he wrote criticizing the conduct of Swaziland’s chief justice Michael Ramodibedi. Even the human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko was imprisoned and sentenced. Later in June 2015, the Supreme Court decided to release them both.
The newspaper The Nation is openly critical towards the king Mswati III and the way the absolute monarchy Swaziland is being ruled.
