35 000 Kosovo Albanians were sent away from Sweden in the early 1990s.
The Swedish attitude towards refugees was fierce – and the Kosovars were the ones who were hit hardest. Andreas Rocksén talk about some of those who became victims of Slobodan Milosevic’s ethnic war in Kosovo in 1998 and 1999 and who had previously applied for asylum in Sweden.
In the report Rocksén finds twelve cases where people have been killed after being rejected for Kosovo, but they are likely many more.
